Class notes for day 5, Feb. 3, 2009

We reviewed a selection of the material from Days 1 to 4.  All the slides I showed were taken from the Day 1 to Day 4 PowerPoint slides.  Then we took the first exam.

The first exam was on Tuesday, Feb. 3.  I have posted the grades to Western Online.  There were 44 questions, each worth 2.5 percent, and 4 of the questions were extra credit, so getting 40 right would be a 100 percent score.  But because of the way the Western Online system works, I had to enter a maximum grade along with your grades, so the system will tell you that your grade is out of 110 percent.  Several people got 39 of the questions right, so they would get a 97.5.  Nobody got 100 or more percent.
