Dr. Marshall joined the Western Illinois faculty as a professor in the Educational Leadership Department in the summer of 2006. His background in education spans over 25 years and includes teaching in secondary public schools, campus as well as district level administrative experience and ten year in higher education as a professor of Educational Leadership in the Texas A&M University System. Dr. Marshall's research interest are in the areas of distance education, secondary student success initiatives along with studies related to the principalship and superintendency in public schools. He currently serves as Senior National Editor of three National Forum Journals and has published with a number of other prominent journals and scholarly publications.
